Daniel Hiram Gibson Sr., aka Booby, is a
former American professional basketball player.
He led Jones High School to a Texas state
championship and scored more than 900 points in three seasons at the University
of Texas.
The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him in the
second round of the 2006 NBA draft.
He played for the Cavaliers for seven seasons
in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Gibson, a three-point specialist, helped lead
the Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA Finals in 2007, where the San Antonio Spurs
swept them.
In 2008, he was the NBA Rookie Challenge MVP.
In 2011, he married R&B singer Keyshia
Cole; however, they separated in 2014. They have a son named Daniel Jr.
